Skipjacks Host Hagerstown on Sophomore Night

The Skipjacks hosted NJCAA D1 Hagerstown Community College on 'Sophomore Night'. Coming off a loss on the road against NJCAA D1 Allegany College of Maryland, Chesapeake will be looking to get their 20th win of the season.

Chesapeake came out and made an early statement on defense holding Hagerstown to just 20 points in the first half. Going into halftime, the Jacks held a 33-20 lead.

The Skipjacks were able to continue to control the game during the second half as they pushed the lead over twenty points and never allowed Hagerstown to get within single digits. Chesapeake would go on to win the game, 75-57.

SO La'Shaun Moody/Cambridge led all scorers with 27 points. He added four assists, three rebounds, and one steal. FR Elisha Johnson-Dixon/Early College scored 16 off the bench. SO Marquis Hamby/Winchendon Prep chipped in 10. Kionne Lang/St. George's scored eight and grabbed 13 rebounds.
