Skipjacks Drop Contest Against Potomac State

In a closely contested game, the Skipjacks fell to WVU Potomac State with a final score pf 67-73. The team fought hard throughout the game with standout performances from several, players, but ultimately couldn't secure the win.

Amaya Richmond led Chesapeake offensively contributing 14 points, 1 rebound and 2 steals. Ty'Aishah Moody also made significant contributions, scoring 13 points, contributing 1 rebound and 3 steals. Zakiyah Zimmerman and Lourden Banks both contributed 11 points each with 8 and 2 steals respectively. Banks made 7 out of 8 free throws and tallied 6 rebounds. Gabrielle Corbin and Arianna Woodside both added 7 points each to the team's total, reinforcing momentum and grit.

Despite the team's effort, the Skipjacks were unable to defeat Potomac State. Although they couldn't secure the win, Chesapeake demonstrated determination against a tough opponent making this a hard-fought battle until the final buzzer.
