Skipjacks Women's Basketball Extend Win Streak to Three
In an electrifying showdown, the Chesapeake College Skipjacks achieved victory in an exceptionally fierce battle against the Frederick Community College Cougars, clinching the win with a final score of 85-67.
The game was marked by intense competition and standout performances from Chesapeake's roster. Leading the charge was Gabrielle Corbin (Salisbury, MD/Wicomico), who was a powerhouse on both ends of the court with a total of 21 points, shooting an impressive 9-14 from the field and grabbing 17 rebounds. Her relentless effort kept Chesapeake ahead throughout the game.
Lourden Banks (Accokeek, MD/St. Mary's Ryken) added 21 points, alongside 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals, showcasing her versatility and leadership.
