LARGO – Kellieann Tyner (8-0) threw a five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts and three walks to complete Saturday's doubleheader sweep as the Skipjacks improved to 18-0.

"That's probably the hardest she's thrown all year," Chesapeake head coach Durrie Hayes said of Tyner, who struck out the side in the fifth to end the no-hitter.  "Her curve was working nice and she was hitting her spots."

The Skipjacks, who improved to 10-0 in the league, broke a 1-1 tie with an 11-run second inning.

Cheyenne Riley went 3-for-4 to lead a 13-hit attack.  Hannah Stringer (three RBI), Abby Tyner, Michelle Lawrenson and Kaley Schreiber each added two hits.
