BALTIMORE – Jimmie Jenkins had 32 points, nine assists and seven rebounds Wednesday night, but it wasn't enough to hand Baltimore City Community College its first league loss.

Geran Pope (16 rebounds) had 16 points while Chad Church, Louis Simpson and Jahmante Jackson each added 10 points for the Skipjacks.  Chesapeake, however, couldn't overcome yielding 105 points for the second consecutive game.

The Skipjacks (8-7, 3-5) have allowed an average of 94.5 points per game over the last four games, three of them losses.  BCCC improved to 14-5 overall and 10-0 in the conference.

Chesapeake hosts Cecil College (9-8, 4-3) Friday at 7 p.m.
