Bio

Tony Riggi is entering his eleventh year as assistant coach for the Skipjacks. He graduated from Delaware State University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Soil and Water Management. He was a two-time Male Academic Athlete of the Year as a member of the Stingin’ Hornets baseball team. 

Prior to coming to Chesapeake, Riggi was assistant varsity baseball coach at North Caroline High School for four years and a youth baseball coach in Marydel, DE for an additional four years.

Riggi is employed by the Maryland Department of Agriculture in Salisbury, Maryland.

Riggi resides in Galestown, MD with his wife, Sydney.
